You want to make a difference?

My dears,

We live in a difficult and troubled time. Everything around us is changing, what used to be simple is now getting harder. This time you have all shown courage and dedication. It's hard to be in the front line, it's hard to be a keyworker, and yet you've given your best. I bow to you.

From what I have said today I will tell you about the qualities that a true carer must have and at the same time what the company offers us to help us.

If you have ever thought about changing your job, especially now in this period and you are thinking about working as a carer you should keep in mind the following:

I don't know if you've ever heard of Gibbs reflective cycle, he says the following: "the conscious examination of past experiences, thoughts and ways of doing things. Its goal is to surface learning about oneself and the situation, and to bring meaning to it in order to inform the present and the future. It challenges the status quo of practice, thoughts and assumptions and may therefore inform our decisions, actions, attitudes, beliefs and understanding about ourselves."

Description, Feelings, Evaluation, Analysis, Conclusion, Action plan. These characteristics also apply to the carer job.

Description: each client will describe personally or objectively personal experiences, experiences that will later help you develop and grow.

Evaluation: we will always evaluate the evolution of a client or the deterioration of his situation.

Analysis: we will always analyse the needs of our clients.

Conclusion: by going through each step we will come to the most concrete and correct conclusion to help our client.

Action plan: after finding out the client's needs and how we can help him we will act according to a plan, more precisely a what plan.

All this dear ones is done through skills. We each have our skiils, we are each good in our own way and that is why we will always be able to use the transferable skiils or soft skills method. "Transferable skills are abilities that can be used in a wide range of careers. As the name suggests, they can literally be transferred from one job to another and they're incredibly valuable to employers. "

To be a carer you need the following skills: ability, knowledge, advanced training, learning and growth. The company will always come to our aid with advanced training, knowledge and will always offer the opportunity to grow.

It is very easy to grow, even if you have never worked in this field, it is very easy to become one of the best, this would be described very nicely by "elevator to success, you have to take the stairs." This means that in order to develop you have to take it step by step, step by step. The life of a carer is so beautiful, so wonderful and so fascinating. It would be simply described by lifelong learning. You will always learn new things, you will always learn new ways in which you can help others, you will learn how to be empathetic, how to be patient and tolerant, you will learn how to develop yourself in order to develop those around you.

I developed a lot in one year, I always had the help of the company and I had advanced training and unique experiences.

It's easy to grow, you just have to want to.
